Choosing a Topic for Communication Research

This paper evaluates the criteria for selecting a research topic and the benefits of selecting a good research topic in communication field, and emphasizes the need of following the processes involve in selecting and evaluating a research topic.  The paper utilized library sources primarily. In the paper, it has been indicated that if a topic for research must be effectively chosen, first passion must be discovered, and discovering your passion through some helpful steps provided in this article in formulating a research topic will prevent the researcher from abandoning the work half way. It was concluded that all functional elements in the process of selecting a research topic are closely linked when academic interest is channeled into research focus that will make your project both enjoyable and original; laying the groundwork for future study.
